Muscles used w/ SSC ??
WRT the "Stretch Shortening Cycle"... which I'd never heard of before I joined, I'm wondering in the throw w/ proper form, which muscles engage in an SSC? Seems to me, to max speed of the disc, one would do best to do coordinated engagement of the back / deltoits (? - not sure if that's what they're called, but the ones that get stretched when we elongate), triceps, which will straighten the elbow, and whatever the heck unbends the wrist... or am I missing something...
BTW... do you ever watch a pro golfer hit a ball in slow mo?? Watch how their wrists, cocked at 90 degrees don't unload until their arms are nearly down vertically in the swing... then they just explode generating club head speed... totally crazy when you see it...
